The “Relay Power Supply 30A” serves as combined power supply and switching device (primary / secondary) for the MiniTrans remote control system.
The green “mains” LED indicates the 230 V mains supply. The red “switching” LED goes out when the contact is open.
The voltage output of the relay power supply unit, marked “± 8V”, implements the power supply of the MiniTrans sensor and of an optional MiniControl channel doubler.

The two-pole switching input (“switching”) of the relay power supply unit is driven by the MiniTrans sensor’s switching output.
Being switched by the MiniTrans sensor, the relay power supply unit supplies 230 V with a maximum of 4 A for primary switching. The wiring is implemented via a shockproof Phoenix high current terminal.
Via the internal power relay “RM8” with two parallel-connected two-way contacts (24 A/250 V ≈) a changeover contact for the secondary switching of up to 30 A at 30 V DC is available at the second Phoenix high current terminal.
The relay power supply unit is mounted on a snap-on rail module on the back of the housing.
